Preview of Process Viewer
October 25th, 2006 by jens.reimannRecently work has begun creating a process view framework. The components needed are of course a data model, configuration, a viewer as well as a graphical editor. Read on to see what already is in the repository and what will be in the next release of project Atlantis. And of course see some screenshots too
The following two screenshots show what is already in the repository:

The first one shows the RCP application with the hive browser, the realtime list and of course one instance of the process viewer. The content in the process viewer is loaded from an XML based configuration and displayed using the Draw2D framework from Eclipse. The realtime view shows the signals of the valve while the process view shows the visual representation. The valve state is currently open and the command menu for valve operations is open.

The next screen shows the valve status after the close command has been issued. The valve is in transit state which can be seen in the realtime list and the process viewer.
This was just a short introduction in what currently is under development. For technical information, internal structure and what is planned for the future see the wiki at AtlantisProcessViewer.
