Version 0.6.0 of project Atlantis is released. For details about the release and the download links see the wiki (AtlantisVersion060). This release features mostly back-end enhancements and only minor GUI tweaks were made. Most important enhancements are:
- New Communication Adapter (ICE Framework)
- Generalization of Client Interface (independent of connector implementations)
- A new build system that is much less static
- Contains the OPC Server based on Project Utgard

In the last few days step by step a new interface connector was added to the Atlantis project. This gives OpenSCADA a new object oriented communication interface beside the already implemented socket protocol. The integration builds already contain the ICE specific modules. Version 0.1.5 of project Utgard (the OPC interface project) has been release. The major change is a new version of the library j-interop (thanks to Vikram) which fixes some issues in the DCOM protocol handling. Together with some minor bug fixes this gives a new version which can now handle async IO 2.0 connections with Matrikon and Softing OPC servers and support browsing with much larger batch sizes.
